ABOUT OUR CHURCH

Joining a church can mean many things to many people. Some seek out God when they feel they have lost their way, some are searching a deeper purpose in life, some looking for a way to connect to their family, etc. It is our belief that the Church, at its core, is about finding love and beauty through God and His work.

Immanuel Baptist Church was established in 1896 as a place to gather and hear about Jesus Christ whether you have been a follower for many years or are starting to investigate Him for the first time. We are a friendly and inviting group dedicated to serving the spiritual means to the community. Our Church is deeply rooted in holy words from the King James Version (KJV) Bible. Our doors are always open to anyone who is looking for a place to worship. Feel free to come visit this week at any service or event we are having. We would LOVE to extend our church family to you.

OUR
CORE BELIEFS

We believe the Holy Scriptures, which is composed of 66 infallible books that were inspired by the Word of God. The Trinity of God is comprised of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, was born of a virgin, physically walked this Earth, and lived a perfect, sinless life. At age 33 He suffered and died by giving up the ghost on a cross at Calvary to pay for each and every mans' sins that we would have an opportunity to accept His free gift of salvation and be able to spend eternity in Heaven. From the bible, it says that unless a man be born again, he cannot go to Heaven.

Salvation is received when a person freely and sincerely repents from their sins and asks God into their life. This is called, being born again and places their faith into the hands of Jesus Christ.
